FIFA has launched new Android and iOS apps just in time for the 2014
FIFA World Cup Brazil draw, which will take place on December 6.
In addition to streaming live coverage from the draw, the app will apparently be the “most comprehensive football app on the planet.” With the FIFA app, users will be able follow “hundreds of competitions, thousands of goals and over a million minutes of football every single week” from over 197 leagues across the globe. Furthermore, the FIFA News feature will offer more football-related news, including breaking news, image galleries, and access the FIFA TV Studio and FIFA archives.
As for the next year’s World Cup, users will also get the World Cup match schedule, team profiles and an “exclusive destination guide.” Finally, the app will let users personalize their experience by selecting favorite teams (clubs and national team) and competitions to follow.
